MUHAMMAD ORIGINALLY ENDORSED THE TORAH & GOSPEL IN THE QURAN
Christianity was rapidly expanding in the middle east at the time of Muhammad and he was heavily influenced by what he heard in the Torah and the Gospel, evidenced by passages found within the Quran similar to those in the Bible. Other contemporary literature of the time was also included in the Quran. Muhammad could not read or write but verbally passed on those stories he heard and visions received from an angel to his followers. His followers were then interviewed several years later after Muhammad’s death about what they remembered being told by Muhammad. It is his followers memories and accounts that were recorded in the original texts. These revelations from the angel came to Muhammad 650 years AFTER Christ’s death, burial and resurrection and the Quran expressly disputes the core fundamental beliefs of Christianity.
Muhammad grew up in a world with many gods and through exposure to Judaism and Christianity, began promoting monotheism, or the belief in one God. Muhammad didn’t fully understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Catholicism or Judaism and thought them to be heresy, so became a staunch enemy and persecutor of both the Christians and Jews, evident by the writings contained within the Quran and Hadith.
Between 644-656 ad, Caliph Uthman ibn Affan retrieved the original texts, rewrote them into what is now referred to as the Uthmanic codex, and then ordered the original texts to be burned.

They said: Abul Qasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. QURAN LATER DENIES & CONDEMNS WHAT CHRISTIANITY TEACHES …

The Quran just outright denies the claims of the bible and proactively condemns its believers. Muhammad, simply misunderstood the full and true Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Trinity and it’s place in monotheism.
It is also evident he did not understand why – if monotheism claims to worship only one God, as Judaism teaches – why those in the Catholic church would kneel before statues of patron saints or Mary, the mother of Jesus, and why the Christians speak of a Trinity and believe Christ is the Son of God and Messiah when the Jews didn’t even believe in Jesus? These concepts confused him and he rejected Christianity and began receiving revelations from an “angel from heaven”, which he thought was a Djinn/genie. Christ prophesied about prophets and teachers who would come shortly after him teaching a completely different gospel than the Good News of Salvation and the forgiveness of sin that only Christ provides.

The Quran purports that Jesus was never crucified on the cross, but Judas Iscariot died in his place to FOOL the followers of Christ. While the Muslims do believe that Jesus is the end time judge, it is believed that Christ will return in the last days to PARTNER with their awaited Mahdi and convert everyone to Islam. Sahih Muslim 4366—Muhammad said: “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslims.”
Quran 8:38-39 —”And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief in Allah) and the religion will all be for Allah alone.”
Quran 9:5 —“Fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war.”
Quran 9:28—O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Quran 9:29 FIGHT those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which has been forbidden by Allah and his Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth from among the People of the Book (Jews & Christians), until they pay the Jizyah (punitive tax) with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
