[Someone] in this group asked me “If Jesus is God Almighty, why did he need help raising Jesus from the dead from God Almighty?First of all, I would Like to thank [him] for admitting that to be raised from the dead, you need Help from God Almighty and if you can raise someone from the dead, you must be God Almighty!!!!!
The Bible tells us there were THREE PERSONS ACTIVELY INVOLVED in RAISING Jesus from the dead.
The FIRST PERSON involved in raising Jesus from the dead was JESUS HIMSELF.
John 2:19 states “Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I WILL RAISE IT again in three days.”
How do we know Jesus was talking about raising himself from the dead? Because
John 2:21-22 states “But the TEMPLE he had spoken of was his BODY.
After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.”
The SECOND PERSON involved in the Resurrection of Jesus was the HOLY SPIRIT.
Romans 8:11 states “And if the SPIRIT OF HIM WHO RAISED JESUS from the dead is LIVING in you, HE who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of HIS SPIRIT who LIVES in you.”
So there you have it, the HOLY SPIRIT was involved in raising Jesus from the dead.
The THIRD PERSON who was involved in RAISING JESUS from the dead was the Father. Paul writing to the Churches in Galatia said in
Galatians 1:1 “Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and GOD THE FATHER, WHO RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD”.
It makes sense that ALL THREE PERSONS listed above would be involved in raising Jesus from the dead. Why, Because God is a TRIUNE God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Lastly the Bible says GOD RAISED JESUS from the dead. Luke writing in
Acts 2:24 about Jesus states “But GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
The Bible is clear, ALL THREE PERSONS of the TRINITY, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, were involved in raising Jesus from the dead. To deny this, is to deny the God of the Bible and those who do so stay under the wrath of God!!! SPFPOST
